Future Changes to the Winter HR-Related Surveys

NCES has posted a report and request for suggestions affecting proposed changes to the Human Resource-related IPEDS surveys, at: http://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/whatsnew.asp. As noted in the report, comments on the proposal are welcome and due by February 15, 2005.

As we near the end of the Winter 2004-2005 collection, the Help Desk will be offering extended hours as follows:

Weekdays, January 17 - 26: 8:30am to 8:00pm (Eastern time)
Weekend of January 22-23: Saturday 10:00am - 5:00pm; Sunday 1:30pm - 5:00pm (Eastern time)

As indicated in our reminder email of December 29, 2004, we will begin calling institutions that have not entered any of their required survey data as of January 12. Please begin entering data prior to that date to avoid any unnecessary reminder calls to your institution.

The Winter collection will close to Keyholders at midnight (Eastern time) on Wednesday, January 26, 2005.
