This Week In IPEDS (TWII)
IPEDS Data Feedback Reports
Last fall, keyholders, state and system coordinators, and chief administrators were sent copies of the first edition of the IPEDS Data Feedback Report. The purpose of this report was to provide selected statistics based on IPEDS data that would be useful to institutions for purposes of planning and management, as well as for providing a context for reviewing their key IPEDS data. At the same time, the accompanying Executive Peer Tool (ExPT) (http://nces.ed.gov/ipedspas/ExPT/index.asp) was unveiled.
Technical Review Panel
In March, NCES will hold a Technical Review Panel (TRP) meeting to discuss changes and enhancements to the second edition of the IPEDS Data Feedback Report that will be sent to institutions in Fall 2005.
NCES is interested in hearing what you thought of the first report, and your comments and suggestions for the second. Please address your comments and suggestions to Susan Broyles, IPEDS Project Director, at Susan.Broyles@ed.gov by March 11. Please include the following in the email subject line: IPEDS Data Feedback Report - Suggestions.
NCES will compile all suggestions for presentation to the TRP. The results of the TRP meeting will be posted at http://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/whatsnew.asp in April.
Spring Collection
Don't forget! The IPEDS Spring 2005 Collection opens on Wednesday, March 9, and includes the following surveys: Student Financial Aid (SFA), Graduation Rates (GRS), Finance (F), and Enrollment (EF).
