New STEM Tables Available

The following NCES publication was released on April 25, 2011: Postsecondary Awards in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, by State: 2001 and 2009. These tables provide state-level information on the conferring of STEM awards (degrees and certificates) from academic years 2000-01 and 2008-09, both overall and by field. The NCES publication number is 2011226 and it can be found at: http://nces.ed.gov/pubsearch/. STEM variables are available in the IPEDS Data Center under Completions, at http://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/datacenter.
