Meetings

• The 2003 NSF/NCES Summer Data Policy Institute is underway in Potomac, MD, with 50 attendees from all over the U.S., South Africa, Venezuela, France, Australia, Puerto Rico and Guam. • The May 13-15, 2003 meeting of the State Higher Education Executive Officers (SHEEO) and IPEDS Workshop included many useful discussions of IPEDS related issues. A summary of the meeting and copies of presentations are available at http://www.sheeo.org/network/net-meeting.htm.
• Several IPEDS-related presentations were well-received at the May 18-21, 2003 AIR Forum in Tampa, including a poster on the use of the PEER tool by Bill Fendley and Cel Johnson, an IPEDS workshop, a PEER tool demonstration by Tim Sanford and Mohamad Sakr, and a session relating to IPEDS changes and Help Desk activities.
