TRP Suggestions Available for Comment

Suggestions from the most recent meeting of the IPEDS Technical Review Panel are posted at https://edsurveys.rti.org/IPEDS_TRP/ and are currently open for comment. Suggestions are from Technical Review Panel #46, “Improvements to the Finance Survey,” that was held March 24 and 25, 2015, in Washington DC. Comments from interested parties should be sent to Janice Kelly-Reid, IPEDS Project Director at RTI International, at ipedsTRPcomment@rti.org, and are due by June 12, 2015.

Updates to the Delta Cost Database

The IPEDS Analytics: Delta Cost Project Database has been updated to include data for the 2010-11 and 2011-12 academic years. This longitudinal database includes data from the IPEDS finance, enrollment, human resources, completions, graduation rates and student financial aid survey components for academic years 1986-87 through 2011-12. These data have been translated into analytical formats to allow for longitudinal analyses of trends in postsecondary education with a focus on revenues and expenditures. The database is available at http://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/Section/deltacostproject/ and can be downloaded in SAS, SPSS, STATA, and CSV formats.
