NCES Announces New Program Director for IPEDS

Richard Reeves has joined NCES as the Program Director for the Postsecondary Institutional Studies Program (PISP). In this role, Rich will lead and direct activities related to IPEDS and other topics related to postsecondary education. Rich has more than a decade of experience conducting research in postsecondary education and has worked at the National Student Clearinghouse as its Director of Research, at Cornell University as a Senior Researcher, and Johns Hopkins University as the Director of Enrollment Research and Technology. Most recently, Rich served as a team lead for the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) where he led a team dedicated to the development and implementation of energy surveys. NCES and the IPEDS team are pleased to welcome Rich aboard!

Jessica Shedd, who served as acting Program Director for the past year, is happily returning to her role as IPEDS Team Leader for R&D and Outreach.
