Registration and Summary of Changes for the 2021-22 Collection
The registration period for the 2021-22 data collection is now open. Existing (primary) Keyholders and Coordinators should have received a registration email on August 4, 2021. Fall 2020 Data Released
NCES has released provisional data from the Fall 2020 collection. The Fall 2020 collection includes the following survey component data: Institutional Characteristics and Cost of Attendance for the 2020-21 Academic Year, 12-Month Enrollment during the 2019-20 Academic Year, and Awards Conferred during the 2019-20 Academic Year. The data are currently available through the IPEDS Use the Data Page: https://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/use-the-data
Upcoming IPEDS Updates Webinar
The Association for Institutional Research (AIR) will host an informational 2021-22 IPEDS Updates webinar on August 26, 2021, from 2:00–3:30 pm (Eastern). The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) will provide a general update on the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) annual survey. The webinar is open to the public, and free of charge. The following information will be presented: changes to the upcoming 2021-22 collection, a brief overview of Research and Development, and tools for using IPEDS data. The number of participants is limited however it will be recorded and available for viewing after August 26, 2021.
