Creating Custom Comparison Groups for 2007 IPEDS Data Feedback Report

Again this year, each IPEDS institution can create a custom comparison group for use in the 2007 IPEDS Data Feedback Report that will be sent to institutions (keyholders and CEOs) this fall. Please note that you do NOT need to create a custom group unless you wish to. The last day to submit a custom comparison group is June 30, 2007. If you submitted a custom comparison group in the past, the same group will be retained for the 2007 Data Feedback Report unless you choose to submit a new one.

A custom comparison group can be created using either the IPEDS Executive Peer Tool (ExPT) or the Peer Analysis System (PAS). Then the comparison group can be uploaded to the web-based data collection system. The following information is available to help you with this process:
