Final Guidance on Race/Ethnicity Collection and Reporting
On October 19, 2007, the U.S. Department of Education posted to the Federal Register the “Final Guidance on Maintaining, Collecting and Reporting Data on Race and Ethnicity (R/E) to the U.S. Department of Education.”
NCES has prepared an overview of the changes required to comply with the new guidelines for collecting and reporting Race/Ethnicity data, including the specific impact on IPEDS data reporting.
