Upcoming change to the contractor team supporting IPEDS
NCES recently completed the procurement process for the next IPEDS collection cycle. Starting in 2026-27, IPEDS institutions will be working with a new contractor, AEM Corporation. The current contractor, RTI International, will continue to support ongoing data collection activities related to the 2025-26 data collection year process until early 2027. NCES is deeply grateful to the RTI team for their contributions, professionalism, and service throughout their time supporting IPEDS. NCES is committed to IPEDS, and ensuring continuity and high-quality data collection remain our top priorities. We are working closely with both the outgoing and incoming teams to support a smooth transition and minimize any disruption.
