Note: The Winter collection site will be unavailable on Saturday, Dec. 15, from approximately 10:00am to 12:00pm noon (Eastern).

Please excuse this necessary interruption while an upgrade is made to the NCES network.

The Winter Collection is open

Employees by Assigned Position (which is optional this year only), Fall Staff, and Faculty Salary data can now be submitted online through February 1, 2002. As of today, over 1000 institutions have begun entering data -- thanks for your quick response! As you have probably noticed, the Web-based collection system has a new look and feel to it-- we hope that you find the new features (such as locking-by-survey) useful. Please let us know if you encounter any problems with this new system by contacting the Help Desk.

If you have any questions or concerns about the Winter Collection, please do not hesitate to contact the Help Desk. Also, information about the collection, including facsimile survey forms and instructions, is located at: http://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/web2000/WinterDataItems.html. Institutions that did not respond to the fall collection are urged to participate in the winter collection since these data are mandatory for Title IV institutions according to by P.L. 88-352, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended by the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972 (29 CFR 1602, subparts O, P, and Q).

The Website for the Fall 2001 collection has been changed to:

http://surveys.nces.ed.gov/fall2001. The Fall 2001 data collection site, at this new address, is still available to view, print, or download your Fall 2001 data. Our special thanks to all of the institutions that completed the Fall 2001 surveys; more than 96 percent of the Title IV eligible institutions responded.

Completed Fall 2001 data have now been migrated to the IPEDS Peer Analysis System. You can access the migrated Fall 2001 data, as well as the Spring 2001 data, by using your 2001-02 UserID and password to log in at the Collection level.
